- 8 flat cones
- 2 agility markers or court lines

Court blueprint
Set up the court
Three marked stations use the baseline and service boxes for lateral movement, forward acceleration and recovery. Players rotate in one direction without crossing an active lane.
- Player movement
- 01Create three separate lanes for lateral movement, forward-back movement and split-step recovery.
- 02Leave one racket-length of space between lanes.
- 03Agree on a clockwise rotation before starting.
Step by step
Your 20-minute practice
0–4 min
Prepare the movement
- Walk each station once and finish every route balanced.
- Use an easy split-step before changing direction.
4–10 min
Complete round one
- Work for 30 seconds at each station.
- Rest while moving safely to the next marker.
10–16 min
Add match intensity
- Increase the first three steps without rushing the stop.
- Keep your chest controlled through every turn.
16–20 min
Finish cleanly
- Complete one final quality round.
- Count a station only when you recover to its start marker.
Remember
Three player cues
- Accelerate, then own the stop.
- Stay low through direction changes.
- Recover before the next effort.
Avoid these
Common mistakes
- Racing into the next lane before it is clear
- Standing upright during lateral changes
- Letting speed remove the final balanced stop
Keep the same purpose
Adjust the challenge
Make it easier
Complete two rounds, shorten each lane and allow 30 seconds of rest between stations.
Make it harder
Complete four rounds and add a racket shadow swing before every recovery, without shortening the rest below 20 seconds.
Keep it safe
Keep every lane one racket-length apart, rotate only on the agreed signal and stop if a cone or player enters another lane.
