Court blueprint
Set up the court
Step inside the baseline for the second-serve return, send it deep, recover forward and direct the feeder’s looser next ball into the open deep target.

Step by step
Your 15-minute practice
0–3 min
Set the forward return
- Start inside the baseline and block four second serves deep.
- Finish balanced enough to stay forward.
3–7 min
Add the loose ball
- Ask the feeder for a slower next ball through the middle.
- Move around it and aim into the open target.
7–11 min
Vary serve direction
- Alternate deuce and ad returns.
- Keep the recovery cone inside the baseline.

- Count deep return plus controlled finish.
- Aim for seven complete patterns.
