Court blueprint
Set up the court
The feeder varies backhand width. Create space, send each ball into the deep crosscourt target and adjust the route back to the marked recovery zone.

Step by step
Your 15-minute practice
0–3 min
Set the backhand spacing
- Track four feeds and stop beside the contact position.
- Avoid crossing the feet during the final adjustments.

Build deep control
- Hit eight rally-speed backhands crosscourt.
- Recover before the next feed.
7–11 min
Vary the width
- Ask the feeder to move the ball inside and outside the starting spot.
- Use a longer recovery only after the wide ball.
3 sets of 8 · 4 min
Complete three sets
- Count deep shots and complete recoveries together.
- Aim for six successes in each set.
